Please email me only if you are seriously interested in a alucase order as on the night of 09/13/2000 I got 51 emails in assorted languages. Wow this is quite a load as I have to answer them nightly as I got more mail the next day.

About the aluminium cases for the

ROLAND TB-303 and Devil Fish TB-303:

Unfortunately the price is high due to high material costs and the amount of man hours involved

(Aluminium= approx. between 20-27.-(CHF) each Kg, and they are 8.02Kg raw material each case, so the raw material will cost approx. 170.-CHF on its own)

I know that these prices are very high, but i work approx. 9 hours for each case.(Thus limiting the quantity of cases there i can produce)

In Switzerland one hour CNC-machinning costs are 130.-(CHF), so on average one case cost between 1400-1500.- (CHF).

I work on these cases for 60.-(CHF) each hour in my freetime, first and

foremost at weekends or holidays.

So the price is cheap for the amount of work involved.

The prices shown above will be for the complete case, anodised to

any colour you want, 27 different colors are available, with fill up to the

engraved letters with colour and fitment of the 303 into the alucase.

Shipment is not included

The recommended way for case fitment is to ship me your TB as sometimes an adjustment to the position of the push-button-switches is required on your TB.Unfortunately not every TB-303 is the same, I have seen three different series of this

machines so far, but my cases need to be exactly the same and the

position of the holes for the switches and knobs are in 0.01mm accurate,

and the diameters or size of this holes are in 0.1mm accurate.

If you have some mechanical and soldering experience, or you know somebody who does , then you can fit the machine yourself.

Of course then you dont have to pay the fitting costs for this work, so you can save approx 60.-(CHF) for the work and you can save approx. 160.-CHF for the

shipment turnaround. (Also you dont have to ship your TB-303 to me)

If you choose one bright colour its not necessary to fill up the engraved letters with a colour (see the gold one), because the letters are highly visible and the light will give a fascinating effect to the letters.

Please note there is a 1-3 months delivery time.

If everything goes well then one month is possible, if everything goes

not so well then it may take up to 3 months. In the past i have manufactured two orders for people, and the delivery time was beetween 1 1/4 months and 1 1/2 months.

Why so long ?

I mentioned that I manufacture these cases in my freetime, first and foremost dependent on the weekend, sometimes there are problems with accesibilty to the CNC-milling-

machines as the company obviously gets prioroty on their use.Sometimes more work arrives that runs into the weekends. So please note time can vary

After manufacturing I send the case to another company for the

anodising process. This turnaround takes between. 1 and 2 weeks.

So as you can see thats why the delivery takes a while.

This is done by half payment in advance transferred to my bank account - details will be given upon order and the other half on completion.
